Ms. Texas identifies first and foremost as a FemDom Leather Woman. Leather to her is what is in your heart and how you treat people from all walks of life! They put together a Corsets & Cocktails fundraiser for the DFW community, auctioning off donated corsets. Corsets & Cocktails is still one of the best events of the DFW area.
As a former member of the Leather Heart Clan, she was blessed to have the mentorship of some wonderful Leather family members who continue to serve the community with her next favorite event, Whips In The Woods, a weekend camping event that grows every year.
Her memberships include: NLA-I, NLA-D, DFW Women of Leather, LA&M, and NCSF, and she has founded and is involved in several local groups, holding play parties and munches at her personal dungeon.

If your group or event would like to book me for a presentation you can do so with just a few simple steps.

I ask that event coordinators contact me one week prior to the event to confirm our agreement, make any last-minute adjustments and provide me with a schedule for the event. Please note that I usually come in the day before the opening of the event.
COMPENSATIONS & HONORARIUMS:
Please note, although I do NOT require all these things, it would be nice at minimum to have registration, travel allowance, and hotel accommodations covered.
• 1. Registration/event entry for myself & an event bottom (this includes play parties)
• 2. Hotel accommodation for the event. I require 1 night per class taught.
• 3. Roundtrip airfare to/from the closest airport (or at the very least, a one way ticket) I will drive up to 6 hours and would expect fuel costs to be covered.
• 4. Meals or food stipend
• 5. Transportation between the venue/hotel and the airport (if no hotel shuttle is available)
• 6. An honorarium per class. UNLESS the event is for a charity, (leather contests, etc) then no honorarium is needed.

I can still step into any space, take a look around and find enough odds and ends to have a fun scene! Why should we volunteer and do community service? If you’ve been in the lifestyle a minute, you will realize that your journey was chocked full of people donating time, money, or knowledge so you could grow and make informed choices.
We will go over ways to give back to the community, from running a munch, moderating an online group, teaching classes, volunteering at events for various jobs, or even bringing food to a social gathering.
Service in the community not only helps others, you’re helping yourself! You’ll meet awesome people, gain knowledge, experience, and become a trusted member of the community.

CONSENT - PLAYING BY THE RULES
What do we mean by consent on the BDSM world? We go over every inch of this definition and discuss where lines can get blurred - and show where the line need never be blurred again. Teaching yourself what is a limit and what is a green light. Putting those thoughts to paper so you have your list on you at all times to use whether it’s a play scene or a long term relationship. What in the world is all this hoopla about Leather? Why am I seeing all these vests and all these people hanging together looking so happy? When did the Leather lifestyle start. How can I be a person of Leather? Why is that person wearing that black hankie in their pocket? What does it mean when a person sits a certain way or wears certain clothes? What does Leather really stand for? How can I become part of the Leather scene? What is a Leather family? What are Leather contests and why do we have them? What is a covered Master and what’s up with these titles? What books can I read to learn more? What groups can I join?
(This class is usually done in an open discussion format with at least two other upstanding people from the Leather community. Depending on where the class is taught will depend on the other presenters.)

LITTLES VS AGEPLAY - WHAT NOW?
Understanding the little headspace vs age play can be tricky. Some people play in both spaces - some play in one. It’s important to know where you as the adult/top are so you don’t do any damage. Each individual is unique in their journey and it’s up to the “adult” to find the right path for their little or age player. We talk about this, plus appropriate play for each head space. Some are fun things for the littles and some are wild things for the age players.

In your first year or two in the community? This class can help you in your journey. Mentors are a great way to learn not only technique, such as how to throw a whip or learn rope, etc., but they can also help you on your spiritual journey as well as act as a guide to a better path.
So how do you find a good mentor? We discuss this in detail. Time takes time and watching their actions in the community and if they are respected, doesn’t happen at a fast pace. Good mentors are not always easy to find – whether you’re in a remote location or the mentors have other obligations and no time to take on a mentee.
After you’ve chosen who you would like to mentor you, how do you approach that person? We discuss the ways to have a better chance at a “yes” commitment than a “no”, from a simple email to a face to face discussion.

NEGOTIATIONS - CLEAR COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO GET YOUR WANTS & NEEDS MET
Negotiations are the backbone of our lifestyle. In fact, negotiations are the backbone of the human race - from asking for a raise, a job, buying a house, and so many other things we have to come to an agreement on both parties expectations. Want to know how to better negotiate a better scene and get what you want out of the scene without consent violations? How do I negotiate a poly relationship? How do I negotiate any type of relationship that you can find in the lifestyle? There are so many working parts but it’s as simple as 1+1=2! It’s not just about expressing your expectations, it’s also about listening to your partner and acknowledging their expectations.
Many of us have relationships and perhaps we aren’t thinking of things that can happen such as a break up. Negotiations on breaking up (in my opinion) should be discussed while your figuring out the who, what, when, where, and why of your dynamic. The more you talk and exchange expectations, the healthier the relationship.

POLYAMORY 101 - ETHICAL NON- MONOGAMY
Is poly for you? Let’s find out by learning the basics of the poly playing field. Relationship dynamics are different for each poly relationship.
How do you have a successful poly relationship? It takes EFFORT & WORK! Honesty is a must and expect to put more time into a poly relationship, especially in the beginning as you make agreements with each other. Clear communication is a key factor for a happy polyamorous relationship.
What types of poly relationships can you have? There are multiple variations we will discuss. How to find great resources such as books, podcasts, websites, and groups.

SELLING YOURSELF - HOW TO CREATE AN AMAZING PROFILE & COMMUNICATE ONLINE
Many people are flat lazy when it comes to profiles, or they think they can “score” with a one sentence email. Don’t make that mistake. An online profile is your “resume” – would you try to get a job with a five sentence resume?
Writing an amazing profile takes time and effort. Even if you’re not a great writer, you can make a decent profile. It’s easy when you take questions and turn them into sentences and then paragraphs. A handout will go home with you so you can build a fantastic profile.
So, you’ve got this awesome profile and you see someone you have an interest in. Where to start? Read their profile, look at the groups they belong to, their writings, their photos, see if you have anything in common you can talk about. Do they have rules for how to contact them? Follow directions to make a good impression – it shows you took the time to learn something about them. Manners make a big impact on most people. Using ma’am and sir, thank you, politeness goes a long way. Mention things you have in common and ask questions that will get an answer. Don’t get impatient if someone doesn’t immediately answer you. It may take a few days to get a response – remember, they are going to take the time to read your profile too. Communication is much harder when it’s written because you can’t see facial expressions and sometimes words are read differently. Week has gone by and no response? Message them again with something new to say. Time takes time but if you’ve put some effort in, you’ll likely get a response!
